2010 7th Annual APA Maine Iron Bash

Weigh-ins: Friday 6:30PM until 7:30PM or Saturday 8:00AM until 10:00AM  (Lifting starts at 11:00AM)

Sanctioned by the American Powerlifting Association (APA). You must be a member to be eligible. You may purchase membership card at the meet ($30 adult - $15 High School Student).

Entry Deadline is July 3, 2010.  Entries after this date and walk-in registrations must include a $20 late fee!

Walk-in registrations the day of the meet must make payment in cash! Checks not accepted the day of the meet!

PLEASE CHECK DIVISIONS ENTERING – NOTE THAT EACH COLUMN REPRESENTS A DIFFERENT MEET/FEE

YOU CANNOT COUNT AN ADDITIONAL CONTEST AS AN ADDITIONAL DIVISION.  THE  ADDITIONAL DIVISION FEE IS FOR AN EXTRA DIVISION WITHIN ONE CONTEST.  THOSE ENTERING 2 CONTESTS MUST PAY THE FEE FOR 2 CONTESTS.

 

Powerlifting Meet 

$65 one division & $35 each additional division.

Bench Press Meet

$60 one division & $30 each additional division.

Deadlift Meet

$60 one division & $30 each additional division.

 

Push – Pull Meet 

$60 one division & $30 each additional division.

 

Curl Meet 

$60 one division & $30 each additional division.

Overhead Press Meet

$60 one division & $30 each additional division.

Strength Sports Meet

$65 one division & $30 each additional division.

Curl Contest_______

Overhead Press Contest_______ (Weight is taken off shoulder height racks and pressed to straight arms length with no backward lean or knee bend.

No jerking the weight up  No gear allowed, just a lifting belt)

Strength Sports Contest_______ (Consists of overhead press, curl, and deadlift – lifts are performed RAW.  The only gear allowed is knee wraps and/or lifting belt)

You can enter more than one event if you would like, just check the events you want to enter

Entry Fees: Send the amount as advertised for each event. If you are a member of the APA you will need to bring your membership card to the meet as proof or receipt of online membership purchase.  If you are not a member you must purchase a membership card at the meet.

RAW = No bench shirt and no supportive suit. Wrestling singlet, belt and wraps are allowed if you wish to wear them.  Lifters may wear spandex bike tights as a substitute for wrestling singlet ONLY for the bench press.  Singlets are required for squat and deadlift.

Standard Gear = Up to double ply bench shirt which may be made of polyester or denim and lifting suit up to double ply polyester. Groove briefs allowed but nothing over standard BVD underwear type cut

Unlimited Gear = Any combination of lifting suit and bench press shirt thickess, layers, materials. Gear may be made of polyester, Canvas, or denim. Power pants and other non-standard cut groove briefs allowed.  Suits cannot exceed legal lengths however.
