Lifters came from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina to compete in this years event. Unfortunately, for most part the lifters
who competed had arrived the night before. Several were slated to compete and planned on driving to the competition the date of the event
and a huge storm with sleet/snow/rain hit making it impossible for approximately 25 more lifters who planned on attending to attend. Regardless
of the storm we still had a decent turnout with those who arrived the day before the event and some nice lifts were registered. All except one
lifter competed RAW. This seems to be the pattern lately and definitely makes the events run faster and smoother as everybody is definitely ready
when the announcement that the bar is loaded is made.  Special thanks to our referee's, spotters, and loaders for doing an outstanding job and
the lifters who in many cases traveled a long distance to attend this event.
